Missing : 8 pcs, and friends

We never understand how little we need in this world until we know the loss of it.
James M. Barrie (1860 – 1937)

This morning at the office : surprise! We had a little visit from Dark Santa’s Evil Elves. All our machines are gone, some disks, some toys, scanners, printers, all the shit. They even took all the power bars! Oh and backups, too. Vive les laptops, mine’s all that’s left of poor poor Mister Edgar.

Just left the ol’heavy monitors.

I’m being philosophical about it (you know, loss, having stuff, losing stuff, stuff you own ends up owning you, nobody’s dead, it’s all a river of tears anyways, etc.), and this just adds to the shit pile that was 2005.

But wait!
There’s more!
Year’s not over yet!
I still have to… go to court on wednesday! Court! Gaaah!
I guess I’ll be hoping for my own little miracle on 34th street.

Kinda gives ya a clean slate for the new year, I guess.
